Location: Baltimore, MD
Interests: Staying out of trouble. Telling fart jokes.
Nickname/Alternate name: debsiobhan
Facebook: Debra Appel Jaggard
Twitter: Not interesting enough for that.

Significant Other: I’m significant enough to have ditched my other.  I retain the teenager as significant but definitely in the other category.

Random Fact: Dressed as an Ewok for a party last year (that  brings out all the closet Furries!)

Secret Super Power: Translating programmer to boss.

Favorite Bad Bar Song: Gotta go with the classic Sweet Caroline, though I have soft spot for Gin & Juice.

Attended Weetacon: Weetacon I, Weetacon II, Weetacon III, Weetacon VI, Weetacon VII

Best Weetacon Memory: The proposal … so romantic!

I’m usually the one who…: Stays on East Coast Time.

Funniest Weetacon Incident: Do rude things with meatsticks!

Weetathlon Awards: Damn missed that one.

Known for at Weetacon: Am I known?  I think I’m the stealth ‘con attendee.

My most recent Weetacon I have to give total props to Shawn.  Having not eaten due to flight timing and delays and enjoying 2 ciders in the bar (hmmm those are a bit bigger than the bottles of cider we drink at home) I got totally toasted.  I have fond memories of laughing way too loudly, doing rude things with meat sticks and only remembering to bring my camera back to St. Brendan’s with me because Shawn put it in my hand as we were leaving the brats & booyah fest.  Sadly that was not compatible with Karaoke night, so I’ll need to do better on pacing.

  1. I love Deb so much because she a) remembers everyone’s names, b) giggles hysterically at inappropriate comments, and c) totally “gets” why the East Coasters are in constant awe of the friendliness and housing prices of Central Wisconsin. She is also well-read.
