Shawn The winning bidder will receive two porcelain Wendy Bix original entertainment pieces: one large pierced serving platter that will be about 12 x 12 inches (see below for photo of unglazed, raw pieces…they will look shiny and white when finished) along with a matching hand thrown porcelain bowl, a perfect match for the platter, both glazed in Wendy Bix’s signature glossy white. The photo of the two bowls is an example of what the pieces will look like after second firing.
Use the set to serve crudite and a dip, or perhaps cheese and crackers, grilled cheese and tomato soup or maybe waffles and blueberry topping! Each piece is dishwasher and microwave safe, and can be baked in the oven, up to 1000 degrees. Wendy Bix double fires all of her pottery in a high fire kiln, resulting in a truly durable object that can last several lifetimes — if not several centuries.
