Wee Salon May 16th: Investing guru and Weetacon alum Sarah will host an info-tainment hour to help you manage your money. Sarah says “Whether you want to work as long as you can or you’re ready to quit tomorrow, everyone needs to know about financial independence. We’ll talk about the concepts around the FIRE (financial independence retire early) movement and you can decide what ideas you want to implement in your life to help you retire next year or in another twenty. Because retirement isn’t an age, it’s a financial number.” Afterward, resident tragedy boss and Weetacon OG alum Kevin will host a discussion about the lessons learned from major airline disasters of the jet age and how air travel is safer than it has ever been. Kevin says,”From the de Havilland Comet to the Boeing 737 MAX, we’ll discuss what went wrong and what changed because of it.” This session will be followed by a light dinner reception (BYOF) and game time.
