Our host hotel this year (and every year since Weetacon 1) is St. Brendan’s Inn. This is a relatively new 28 room Irish-themed hotel with rainfall showers, two-person jetted tubs in every room, free internet connectivity and free breakfast. The entire hotel is smoke-free (actually, all Green Bay establishments went smoke-free in July 2010 but smoking has never been allowed in the St. B’s hotel rooms) and all of the rooms have a queen bed in them. The group rate that has been extended to our group for the amazing sixth year in a row is $89 per night for a standard room ($79 for one of two “snug” rooms). The hotel clearly loves Weetacon attendees as much as our attendees love it!

To make your reservation, you will need to CALL and give the group name “WEETACON”Image courtesy of Meg. If you make reservations via the website, you will not receive this great rate. Additionally, we recommend reserving your room ASAP, even if you’re not entirely sure that you’ll be coming, as every year Weetacon sells out the hotel for the weekend. They do not charge a deposit for your room and you can cancel your reservation up until two days before Weetacon. Reserve now!

In general, it’s best to make your Weetacon reservations with our group manager, KASIE. She works Tuesday – Saturday, usually from 7 am – 2 pm CST.

When (not if) St. Brendan’s sells out or if you require a smoking room, a room with a king bed or a room with two beds, we recommend the Hyatt on Main at 333  Main Street.  It is an approximately six block walk from the host hotel.

Sounds like a ringing endorsement to make sure that you book your room at St Brendan’s Inn early and avoid having to make these substitute arrangements, doesn’t it?
