March 5-7, 2021
Welcome to the home base for the world famous Weetacon online writing conference. Now in its 17th year, Weetacon started as an online blogger gathering and has evolved to include online and offline writers and readers, as well as people just enjoy hanging around with a bunch of smart folks and sometimes singing karaoke.
That’s a typical Weetacon but as we all know, “typical” isn’t on the menu right now, so we’re taking this shindig ONLINE in 2021. A solid weekend of fun and socialization all from the safety of a COVID-free Zoom room. That’s right, we’re bringing Green Bay to you!
All you need to do to register is to make a donation of any amount to one of the four Weetacon charities between now and March 4th. Take a screenshot of your receipt and uploaded it to the registration form here. That’s it! Nothing to it!
What is Weetacon?
Usually held in late winter and always held in Wisconsin, Weetacon is an exclusive party limited to fewer than 50 attendees every year and dedicated to partnering with local vendors and local charities to keep its mission statement of thinking globally and being the change we want to see in the world.
Who can attend Weetacon? You can! Weetacon’s usual gathering sees a motley collection of writers and word enthusiasts from all backgrounds and professions — the one thing they have in common are a love of meeting new friends. Everyone walks in the first time without knowing a soul but they leave with dozens of new friends and a new love of Neil Diamond party anthems. Whether you’ve never written a word or want to network with the OG bloggerati, Weetacon is your Green Bay hometown weekend getaway (when there isn’t a pandemic ongoing).
