Shawn The piece is about seven inches tall, pierced about three inches down (it can still hold water for flowers, but obviously this is a four inch vase with three inches of decorations, so don’t plan on filling it all the way up).
The piece was created by hand/slab technique using white stoneware bisque and then glazed with Obsidian glaze, fired to about 2200 degrees and held there for approximately 24 hours. The piece is dishwasher, microwave and oven safe (up to at least 2200 degrees anyway). This is a fairly solid/heavy piece with a low tipping point so that you don’t have to worry as much about pets knocking it over.
