Susan G reviews the Bentley Wrap

Hello, my name is Susan and I am addicted to beautiful dresses.

(I wasn’t paid to say that but I was given this dress completely free to wear and review from those fabulous people at Igigi.)

The Bentley Wrap is another winner…soft and luxurious feel, completely packable and will go from office to meeting friends for a night out. I love the warm colors and long sleeves will work perfectly in an air conditioned summer office.

I am very tall (almost 6 feet) and most dresses are too short for me.  The Bentley falls just above my knees; it is fine with tights and I think it will be OK with bare legs this summer but do wish it were just a bit longer.  On my body, Igigi dresses do tend to be a bit short-waisted.  If I could send a suggestion to the Igigi wish list it would be for a tall version of their dress line.

Construction-wise, I was surprised to find quite a few thread tails at the shoulder and waist seams on the outside of the dress.  I think the overlap of the wrap should have been a bit wider but have already worn this dress to work a couple of times and haven’t had problems with “exposure” so I suppose that’s a comfort thing for me.  I wouldn’t have put the lining in the back of this dress, either; it felt a little bunchy to me.  Not so much that it was uncomfortable, just unnecessary.

All-in-all, the Bentley dress is another Igigi score for me.  Casual yet chic, I feel great when I wear this dress.  Would you like to get a free Igigi dress?  Read and follow the directions below this fabulous picture of me…

    Looking lovely, as usual, Susan!

I’m going to take a departure from fawning over the Igigi dresses, and say I’d love to get the Stassi Necklace in Mint. I’ve been on a giant necklace bender lately, and this looks like a winner. I love put them on to add a punch of color to my otherwise black, white and grey outfits.

That print is gorgeous on you, Susan! I missed you so much this year. For a dress, I’d choose the Callie dress to wear on a romantic night out with Joe. I might even wear it to work! However, I’m really lusting after the Ishiko top in raspberry rose.

You look so va-va-voom sexy in this dress! Plus you are the best roommate ever!

It’s hard to narrow down my wish list, but right now I want the Enrica Wrap Dress to wear to work and the Versailles dress to wear around the house and feel pretty.

I love you in prints, mama. It looks fabulous on. And it seems like it would be a total year round dress, boots or sandals… YES.
I have been all gaga over the margaux dress… it is so freaking fancy that I would MAKE stuff up to wear it. Why yes, I have tea at 4:30 on a Monday in sequins. Don’t you?
It would help in the awsomeification of my wardrobe.

You totally rocked this dress, Susan! You’re one hot mama! Right now I love the Doris 2-in-one dress – so cute and it would be perfect for work or play!

Pretty colors I’m such a print chicken, but this print is really fun!, I love the Riley dress, I love that it could be dressed up or down

Very pretty dress, a little to busy for my taste, I prefer simple yet elegant like the Crista dress, which is perfect for work and play functions

This looks really nice on you. My favorite dress for a night out is the Leigh Lace Dress in Black Iris. I think it’s gorgeous and would love to own it someday!

That dress looks amazing on you. Right now I’m eyeballing Riley. The beautiful and classic red with white polka dots would be dress that would be perfect for a sunny afternoon out with the friends, shopping, eating and gossiping.

You are gorgeous! I like the dress I received, the Sommer, and I also want the Carmelle in blue. It looks perfect for a fancy restaurant and night at the theater.

Cute! I am really loving the Katie dress. I think it could work great for a night out, or even to work during the warmer months.

You look amazing in that Bentley Wrap dress! From the opposite end of the spectrum – I’m 5’2 – this dress would probably be too long on me… alas!

My pick: Aubriella, for 4th of July fireworks!

  • Suzy Smith said:

I’m on the opposite end of you, as I’m short, and normally dresses are way too long on me.

I want the Stella for my vow renewal later this year.
