The Francesca Plus Size Dress in Dark Currant is one of my very favorite IGIGI dresses. I have two others in this style (one in black and one in burgundy) and am so pleased that they are getting more colors. The fit on the Francesca is so comfortable and flattering. Wearing this dress just gives me so much confidence.
I feel beautiful and it shows in my ability to socialize with everyone. That is no small feat!
The dress is beautifully made and like most IGIGI dresses, is lined. The color, dark currant, is so rich it made my skin look almost luminous in contrast. The fit is perfect for my hourglass shape and is stretchy but not clingy — very forgiving of a few pounds up or down. The length of the sleeves is perfect, not too short or tight. Perfectly comfortable. Dressing it up or down is an easy trick. I honestly have nothing to say that is negative about this dress.
My first love is the Francesca and I look forward to even more variation in colors, but IGIGI is a wonderfully versatile plus size designer and I’m sure will again tempt me with more lovelies for my collection.

You looked great! I’ve yet to try this style–at the last minute I took the Dark Cyan version off my wishlist in favor of the Jasmine with the print skirt.
Right now, I’m coveting the Luella Tunic in Emerald, which I think would be great for work. (Pretty as the Igigi dresses are, they’re a bit fancy for my office.)
I love so many of these pretties! But I am in a wheelchair and things that good standing/being — I am afraid I would not do them justice.
I forgot to add how much I love the Deora dress, I adore polka dots!
That dress looks like it was custom made for you! Plus the two of you are just so adorable together.
I want the Dolmani coat for spring/fall and the Greenwich top in all the colors.
Love!!!
You look so lovely, June! I would like the Tiffany dress in either pink or jade. I have a lot of weddings this summer and would love an awesome dress!
This style has always been one of my favorites too! Right now I’m eyeing the Neve wrap dresses – so many glorious prints. I’d love to wear one to lunch with my group of friends!
This is an awesome dress (I have the same one!) and it looks amazing on you! I’m contemplating the Thalia gown in Rose Garden that’s in the new Look Book, or the Jadyn Maxi Dress. Either one would be perfect for my high school reunion this summer!
I like the Fayette dress or the Nencia Cocktail Dress.
You look great! I want either the Hayleigh dress or the Wren wrap dress for a fundraiser.
You look lovely in this dress, June!
i’m hoping to get my hands on a pair of pants from Igig – either the Monroe or the Elizabeth.
I love the Hayleigh dress in Midnight Blue – I’ve been coveting it for a while!
I have the Francesca in black and I love it too! I have my eye on the Deora. I would wear it to business meetings and out to brunch.
Love it, it’s a great colour and looks amazing on you. I really love the Cadence Dress in Black/Ivory (http://www.igigi.com/plus-size-dresses/cadence-dress-in-black-ivory.html). I would wear it to my college graduation in May (ahhhhhh, I don’t want to grow up).
I would love the exact dress in this review. What a beautiful colour. I would wear this dress to work with a card I over the top then out to dinner afterwards sans card I.
June, that dress is just perfect on you – perfect length, perfect fit, perfect va-va-va-voom! I am anxious to get my hands on the newly-released Deora. Like Wendy, I’m a fan of black & white as a canvas for color accents and would have a lot of fun wearing it to work with various color combos.
June you are just gorgeous in this dress! And the picture of you and Steve Sr. is too cute!
I’m looking to expand my workwear collection, I would love to own the Monroe Skirt in Navy, and the Belmont Skirt in Ebony Damask. A Mena Jacket in Navy would also be great for me!
I love that style and color on you. I personally love the Fayette dress in Merlot. So pretty for a nice dinner out.
OK, that dress just looks absolutely fabulous on you. Color and cut are spot on perfect and you look regal and chic in it. It’s wonderful how Igigi dresses make us feel beautiful on the inside and help us to come out of ourselves, to be our best selves. Also love the pic with your significant other – it’s very sweet.
I love an upcoming Igigi dress that looks like the Olympia Maxi Dress in mint-green but with sleeves.
I love this dress – I have it in burgundy too! And it looks wonderful on you. I’m lusting after the Janus dress in pink pindot. Mostly because I like saying and typing “pink pindot”, but also because it would look great at work and give me an excuse to buy pink shoes.
Ooh, don’t you look lovely in that! I’m looking at getting the Vintage Polka Dot for summer parties.
Gorgeous! I must have the Letta Dress in Mandarin Rose.
Gorgeous!
It is hard to narrow down my favorite to one. I love the nico skirt in midnight sahara (with matching top) and the jadyn maxi dress (I LOVE blue and purple!) My niece is turning 1 in a couple weeks, so a brand-new pretty dress would be terrific to wear to her birthday party. (I’m also eying the avril maxi dress in floral for an “every day” look.)
The Stella gown is perfect for a fundraising event I have to attend. I love the details on the fabric and the neckline is amazing.
That is a great color for you and I have to agree also with you about the sleeve length. Great choice!! I have to say that I like the Beryl one of all of them (so far).
You look so lovely! I love the marisol dress in pomegranate. I have a very fancy wedding that I’m attending this summer and it would be perfect.
I’d choose the Isis dress for work; my work wardrobe needs refreshing.
That dress with the scarf was so perfect together…you wear it so well! I want to buy my mom the Christina dress in black for her upcoming 65th birthday so she can be as pretty and happy as you are in your IGIGI!
This dress looks awesome on you. I really am digging that dark currant color.
I really want the Linea Plus Size Maxi Dress in Vermillion. That color is gorgeous.
I think you look amazing in the dress and I love the scarf! These reviews about wrap dresses are making me want the Neve dress in blue floral!
I love the scarf too! Great styling!
I am really liking the Janus dress. Or the Elsa in blue. Or the Deora! Don’t make me choose just one. A girl needs plenty of dresses for all the occasions one might encounter.
I love the Francesca’s no matter what! I have my eye on the Gisela for my wedding! http://www.igigi.com/plus-size-dresses/wedding-dresses/gisela-wedding-dress.html
