My first dress that I am reviewing is the Marisol Lace Dress in Truffle. I wore the dress while at a karaoke event. I paired the dress with my black tights and flats. I absolutely loved the color. The picture on the website made the flowers in the dress look a little blueish, but the dress was more of a charcoal color with steel flowers in person. I liked it a lot anyway. The dress was definitely made for someone with larger breasts, though. I have rather broad shoulders and …

The Francesca Plus Size Dress in Dark Currant is one of my very favorite IGIGI dresses.  I have two others in this style (one in black and one in burgundy) and am so pleased that they are getting more colors.  The fit on the Francesca is so comfortable and flattering.  Wearing this dress just gives me so much confidence.
I feel beautiful and it shows in my ability to socialize with everyone. That is no small feat!
The dress is beautifully made and like most IGIGI dresses, is lined.  The color, dark …

I needed some new dresses.  I have been accepted to some more upscale events for my handmade business. This opportunity could not have come at a better time. I was so lucky to have been given two dresses, for free, to review by Igigi. One of my big events I plan to wear one of the dresses for is the indie craft show craftstravaganza  .  I was sure which dress I was going to wear, but after trying on the second dress, I am so unsure.  The 2nd dress has …

Another Weetacon is in the history books and another Igigi fashion event is ready for review.  This year I received two dresses for free in exchange for agreeing to wear them to official Weetacon happenings and posting an honest review so you will be encouraged to visit the Igigi website and order lots of gorgeous clothes for yourself.

My first is called The Olympia Plus Size Maxi Dress and here I am wearing it.
The fabric is soft, flowing, and feels wonderful against the skin.  It’s easy to slip over your head and very comfortable …

It’s the Igigi event! My favorite event! I was given two pieces in exchange for an honest review, and I wore them for the first time last week at Weetacon.

First: the Luella Infinity tunic in Emerald. Igigi has been offering these tops in different colors for months now, and I’ve come close to buying one before. The wrap bodice style reminded me of other things I’ve done well with, like the Twist tops from Kiyonna. So I was pretty sure that I’d like this piece, since it’s a good length …

I received the following garments from IGIGI for free in exchange for my honest review.
Again this year at Weetacon I was thrilled to participate in the IGIGI fashion event.  This year we received two outfits and narrowing my choices to three was difficult.  All their dresses are beautiful but I rarely wear dresses so this year I chose separates.

The first outfit I received was the Lexa Jacket ($132) with the Elizabeth Pants in Black ($82).  I already had the top the model is wearing with the jacket, the Greenwich Top …

So for the first time, I took part in the IGIGI event at Weetacon. And what a great year to participate – we received TWO ensembles for free in exchange for our honest reviews. Perfect timing!

Dress #1 – Chelsea Dress in Fuego

This is not a fade-into-the-woodwork dress, and while ‘look at me!’ attire …

Everyone who knows me knows that I have HUGE affections for IGIGI by Yuliya Raquel. Anytime any of my friends who need a great plus size dress for an occasion, I point them to IGIGI. (Factoid: I just went into my closet and counted how many IGIGI dresses I currently own and found …

I do love the Igigi dresses, these two are no exception.
In the past, the Francesca dress has always been a favorite of mine. I got married in a blue one, reviewed a black one, am drooling over a dark currant one…and I really, really, really want a white one. (Yes, I might be a little addicted. Are you listening, Igigi? Please?)
I do like that I *can* wear a dress.
Most of the time I have to buy separates with the top one being a size larger than my skirt, so wearing …

As part of the Igigi event at Weetacon, I was given the Rachelle lace dress in Onyx, in exchange for writing an honest review.
This is the Rachelle dress, which retails for $170. It was very high-quality, and that price point seemed appropriate. I dressed it down a bit for karaoke night with a fun rainbow necklace from Tatty Devine, and my trusty pewter Tieks.
As the reviewers on the Igigi website mentioned, and as you may be able to see from the fit on me, this dress runs a little small in the bust, so …
