I had so much fun modeling the Tropical Beauty dress, that when Wendy Bix suggested I could write another review for my IGIGI Francesca dress in black for another giveaway, I said “Sure!”.
I bought this dress almost three years ago and it’s one of the very few dresses that IGIGI keeps in stock and is still available for sale. I can see why, because this is the kind of dress that is exactly what you’d want in a little black dress: very comfortable fabric, stretchy and completely impossible to wrinkle. You could just wad it up in your overnight bag and pull it out and it will look beautiful. While I haven’t paired this with a belt yet, it’s just great idea for mixing up the look.
I think my favorite part about this dress is how versatile it is. You can have the sweetheart neckline down a little for a sexy nighttime look or pull it up and leave a little to the imagination. The bra-friendly neckline meant that I didn’t have to buy a special bra to go with this outfit either.
Another great thing about the IGIGI Francesca dress is how completely stretchy and forgiving it is. Just about any lady knows that her weight can fluctuate from month to month (and season to season). The Francesca is appropriate for summer or winter, but because the design works so well with the stretchy material, you won’t have to worry about it looking tight if you happen to to be less active during the winter months.
You might notice in the photos that you can see through the hem of the dress, but that was mostly due to the studio lights when we were taking the photos. The dress is NOT see-through in normal conditions and is fully lined with a similar stretchy material so that you don’t have to worry about the fabric clinging to your body.
Another great thing is that the Francesca looks fantastic on several different body types and different accessories. Last year, Fredlet reviewed this same dress and you can see she paired it differently with boots where I threw on heels and flats for these photos. Fred and I are different heights as well (I’m 5’9″), but as you can see, this dress is pretty great on any lady. – June

I cannot say enough good things about this dress and about how beautiful you look in this, June!
Gorg! I loved that Tropical Beauty dress too…on my wish list!
You look great in that dress. I love the vintage floral dress. I think it would be great to wear to a summer wedding or event. I would wear cute wedges and keep the accessories simple.
Oh June, you’re a vision! I love that dress! I would like to get the Rita vintage dress for a Harley Davidson wedding I’m going to this summer. I feel like it’s right out of Rebel Without A Cause and would fit in nicely with the overall theme. 🙂
Thanks for everything you do for the Tribe. 🙂
The Hiroko Dress is absolutely stunning and would draw the eye no matter where I wore it.
June, you’ve reviewed the dress I want and a dress I have! 🙂 My very first Igigi dress was the Francesca dress in blue. The second I put it on, I- like you- felt it was made for me no matter how I draped it or accessorized it. You look beautiful, and it looks like this photo shoot was a lot of fun, which only makes the dress look that much better.
As for the dress I want, that Tropical Beauty Maxi Dress is a head-turner and would look amazing for a romantic dinner on a beach vacation with the simplest of accessories.
June, you look amazing in that dress! I love the Cora dress and I just saw the Hayleigh dress in ivory/black and fell in love with it! So cute! Either dress would be perfect for work, a party or even attending a wedding!
I would buy the gorgeousness that is the Naomi Gown. It is absolutely astounding. I just love it!!! I would wear it to a wedding that I have coming up and would be looking for any occasion, I can to show it off. The colors are so beautiful and it is absolutely romantic and screams elegance.
As for accessorizing, I have these beautiful drop earrings, with diamonds that are similar to the dusty pink color of the skirt, that I think would pair wonderfully. And as well to finish it off, a simple bracelet.
You look amazing, June! I want the Tropical Beauty Maxi Dress and I’d wear it with my favorite earrings.
June, you lovely, beauty!
I love this dress on you and yes, I can see why they keep this awesome LBD dress in stock as well. It is fabulous and like many IGIGI garments … completely amazing on different body types.
I think another that would be totes gorg on anyone (and me too!) is the Tallulah Dress in Black/White… hotchacha! I SO love that dress, the pattern looks universally flattering as well as the silouette is beautiful with the little sleeves that look comfotable and still cover my upper bat wing situation.
With heels or flats (or boots for the fall) I think for a Texas girl, the Tallulah Dress in Black/White would be a year round love affair!
xox
Wow, June! Those are two very different dresses, but you make them both look fabulous and effortless.
I am absolutely pinning for the Antonia Dress in Dahlia. I think I would just wear it everywhere – work, weekend. Heck, even to bed, it looks so comfortable!
How beautiful you are! I actually have this dress in merlot – I might wear it to my nephew’s wedding in June, but I’d really rather have the Tropical Beauty dress for that. I have some lovely gold sandals that I’d wear with it, too.
June…I love the pictures you are such a beautiful woman! GImme anything from the Igigi web site, I wish I could have it all!
I love the way this looks on her! Such a cute dress. I would definitely wear this.
Hi! Thank you for this offer. I would love to have a Kayden Dress in White/Pearl Blue as my very first IGIGI dress! I would wear it to the office, out riding my bike and even to a dinner and date night with my special guy. It is such a classy every day dress! Also, I would add bold red jewelry and shoes to my Kayden Dress!
oh that dress is lovely! I would love one just that color (even though I’m not supposed to wear it – it’s too yummy not to!) I would wear it with a gold scarf and bangles for dinner out with the big man.
I would get this very dress in black, pair it with red heels, and die of happiness.
Rainforest Paradise Maxi Dress is what I would choose. Nude sandals, as to not draw attention away from the detailing of the skirt. Pearl drop earrings, and hair in a sleek up-do to compliment neckline and my face shape. I would wear it to a New Year’s Eve event.
What a stunner! Simple and chic.
This dress is probably the perfect lil black dress that every lady needs in her arsenal–including me! Bring it on with some silver sandals & jewelry <3
The dress looks great on you! I would go for the Candace Flirty Pencil Skirt and Allegra Summer Jacket and wear it to work. I would accessorize with Teal sandals, a teal 3/4 sleeve v-neck top, silver earrings, necklace and bangles.
Beautiful! I think the Eugenia Vintage Wedding Gown on the Igigi site is amazing. I’d wear it with… a man and a preacher next to me! 🙂
You look amazing, June!
I am eyeing the Leigh Lace dress in Gold to wear to my friend’s wedding, and on other sexy-dress occasions!
Oh wow, the neckline on this dress. Gimme gimme gimme! The only thing that would make me love this dress more is if it comes in red: AND IT DOES. Oh man I would feel like such a vixen!! I would wear this to a babysitting job and not even care. Someone bury me in this dress!
The most flattering neckline ever. Busty girls: If you think a strapless bra won’t give you enough support, try a longline one. They actually work! And a strapless bra makes this dress even better.
I would so love to have the En Vogue Vintage Polka Dot Dress in black! I’d pair it with a red shrug for a splash of color for work and take it for a night look without the shrug. This would be perfect for summer weddings, graduations, just about anything! I LOVE this dress!!!
I’d wear the Rainforest maxi dress with understated but chic matching accessories to my (also plus-sized) friend’s wedding!!
